Here we are in 2007,
I went to the Regattabar recently to check out Irma Thomas Jackson, who I grew up listening to, and have most of her records CD'ss it was like a dream come true for me, to finally meet and tchat with Irma Thomas wo.Supernicelady and a phenominal performer. She controls the stage with her presence and strong voice.. Had the full house audience under her command the whole time. It was great to see some of our local musicians accopanyint Mrs Thomas. The Joint was jumping and not to mention a few local artists were also there on hand. Ms Toni Lynn Washington for one.. Thank you Irma for spending some time with me and your e-mails I aappreciate it. Keep on bringing us your style and presence to us..

I will have to say as far as Gina Sicilia. I support Female blues anf R&B singers because women in blues seem to be overlooked at most of these festivals. Hang in there.My review to follow soon.
