This is a tribute to Ms Lewis for all the good things she has done to help young people and Causes such as CFIBROSIS,CHILDRENS HOSPITAL,DIABETES,LUKEMIA VICTIMS, And has supported these causes for many years.
Shirley is featured in many tributes to Martin Luther Kings Brunches and functions to celebrate this great man of change. '

Lifetime Achievement Award 2001 From BLUES TRUST PROD. and 2002 Poetry Award from ISP And is about to receive a 2004 Poetry Award from International Poets of America for her poem Awesome Awareness One of the 100 most Interesting W omen of Boston 1989. Voted most charisatic entertainer 2004 The Audience Reader Poll.
